When CHICO CREEK DENTAL ARTS began in 1976, the insurance industry standard was $1000 of insurance coverage per year. Largely, this number remains the same today-dental insurance companies have failed to increase their 'annual maximum' in over thirty tears! Consequently, due to the cost increases that have occurred in that span, dental insurance does not provide the same level of coverage as it did three decades ago!
Our Staff is very capable in working with insurance to acquire the maximum benefits possible but it must be remembered that we have no contractual relationship with insurance companies. Our commitment is to our patients and not to an insurance firm. Payment of fees for the initial exam is due at the time of service. At that time, we can provide you with an estimate of costs for your total treatment of for the diagnostic procedures that may be necessary for fully evaluate your dental needs. If you have insurance, it may pay most of the costs incurred at the initial exam. Any credits you may have will be applied to your annual deductible or co-payment.
